Being happy has been neglected over the years and only now that importance of wellbeing has just became trending recently. The culture before was really different that you need to work more and face all the stress in life in a daily basis. It is really alarming to live a life with this kind of culture because your body gets to suffer that may even lead to a severe mental illness. But, nowadays, there are many changes about the past culture. Today, we have this mindset of prioritizing ourselves and fulfill what we love to achieve the happiness that we deserve.

You can actually apply different approaches to achieve the wellbeing you deserve. It is a fact that being abused will bring pain to your life and you will have difficulties recovering from it. Being abused comes in different factors. People are the top abusers regardless if they are your boss, your family, your friends, office colleagues, strangers and even yourself. Those that are often abused are those people who don’t have time minding their selves. Learning to say “no” is one way to help yourself from being abused by others and by your own body, too. Another way is for each of us to learn to be alone when we are already in our adulthood. Being alone means your chance to do self-reflection. If you are alone, you are able to concentrate on yourself and reflect from where you are right now therefore giving you a fresh mind and start to manage the challenges you are facing. This will also help you realize that happiness can be achieved if it is your choice to achieve it.

Since you already have your alone time, why not spend it in a way that will make you feel better physically, right? In fact, if you stay away from social media and you avoid answering work-related calls or emails, you will feel better. If you don’t stop from these things, you eventually become more stressed and even depressed by just reading from social media or emails. The best that you can do is to spend more time with yourself through spas, eating your favorite meals or just lie down your bed and watch movies. It all depends on what activities should you be doing for as long as it contributes to your overall wellbeing and it makes you happy.
